Wwaaaallllleeeee!

This is the first night since Wednesday that I have been home before 130am. Last night I got home at 330.

Ohhhh Brother!!

So I did two prints last night and it was super late and I couldn't keep going so I just left and come home. I got ready for bed, set my alarm for 630 annnnnnd APPARENTLY I didn't hear the alarm. I was suppose to be up at LCA by 815 then I had work at 10 so I was going to leave LCA at 930 so I could be at work with plenty of time! Ahahaha. Instead of getting up at 630 I work up at 936!!!!!!! Not only did I wake up late and miss LCA I also woke up to late to leave for work on time. (I have to leave by 930 to get there by 10) SO LAME! I didn't leave my house until 948 and I called work and Guess what?!?!? I told the Manager on duty that I was going to be late and she said that it wasn't a big deal because I'm never late BUT the District Manager was suppose to be there ANY Minute!!!! So I sped ALLLLL they way there and was only ten minutes late... I get there and the DM isn't there!! Oh I was sooo happy until Mindi mentioned that I have blue on my face. ("Shelby, Why do you have blue all over your face?") From Printing. Uggggg. I printed bright blue last night. I knew it was all over my hands but totally forgot that when I left Bridget told me I had blue on my face. Quick note, Print ink DOES NOT come off with soap and water. You have to use some special soap. Lame. So I went to the bathroom and tried to clean it off, I had to scrape my nails into my skin to get the blue off. It came off but there was a faint hint of blue on my face. All Day Long. I'm so done with school.

Good news.... ALLLLLLL My Prints Are D.O.N.E.!!!! :) I just have my final Wednesday at 330.

What will I be doing during my break? Work and sleeping. Annnnd maybe sewing. It will be wonderful!!

Three. Count them.... THREE Finals today!!! :0 So crazy but I feel pretty good about them.....! Ha. I have my written French final Tomorrow and my French oral Monday then one final the 15th and I'm done!!! So basically I'm done on Monday. I Need this Break sooooo stinkin' Bad!! I need a vaca somewhere... even for a couple of days. Who wants to go? You pay your ticket I'll get the room, Deal?!?!

Guess what I am doing tomorrow?!?!?! Are you ready to be jealous????





I'm going Horseback Riding!!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!! So when you are doing whatever you do around 215 just think of me, having waaaayyyy more fun than you!!!!! :P

I have a funny story to tell and I hope that its not too crude. And if you want to actually hear me tell it (Which is way better) Let me know and I'll gladly tell you.

So I'm in my studio art class doing our "final" which was the class got split into 4 groups and we have to make statues out of another group. My group had to be a motorcycle, sound okay right?! WRONG! So I volunteered to be a wheel, so I crouched down into my wheel position and waited for everyone to get into place. So This guy kinda a little heavy was the seat so we all had to crouch down facing the same way (I was the back tire) So I'm staring at this guys butt. I forgot to tell you that he's pretty ugly. I know that sound really bad but he was! So his pants are too big and guess what? So are his undergarments. So I'm literally staring at this guys butt!!!! (that needs a waxing) My friend William is standing behind me just laughing away and there are only two other people who are seeing this guys butt. I was about 3 feet away from him and the girl that was positioning us wanted me to get close to the guy. I told her No! and she said I had to so that statue was complete. LAME! William is still laughing his head (butt...buh) off so I get a little closer and she gets mad again and tells me I have to get closer. So I finally get closer and just keep my eyes closed. William said "I think Shelby's super uncomfortable..." I raised my head without opening my eyes and said "very." Everyone in the class was laughing and my professor thought It was hilarious. It was Not!! AND I could not say why I didn't want to get closer to the guy.... How embarrassing for him!!!

THANKSGIVING

Am I the only one who gets Super depressed while looking at photography blogs and seeing allllll the people getting married? Yeah, Hi5. Who's not looking forward to the Holidays? weellll for that reason..

So Thanksgiving....

I'm very Thankful for Everything that God has done for me!!!! It' pretty incredible when I think about it.

Oh how I enjoy Thanksgiving!

So I made the cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, and Green beans (the special ones) It would be thanksgiving if SOMEONE didn't get hurt. Don't worry, Sarah and I both did. I sliced my finger on a potato peeler annnd I don't remember what Sarah did. Mom wanted to eat by one. Haha. Per tradition we ate around 445 or 5. Sarah was smart and turned on the fire! Oh it was Ahhhh-mazing! I love sitting by the fireplace. I always sit right infront of the fire and Sarah always complains that she can't feel it. Whateves :)

My very favorite thing to eat during Thanksgiving is..... STUFFING!!! then hmmmmm... It's hard to pick! I love it all!!! Turkey, Cranberry sauce, Stuffing, Green beans, Mashed potatoes, Sweet potatoes, gravy, And Pumpkin pie :0 Yum!!




I need a vacation. Who wants to sponsor me to Australia?? Or Chicago?? Mmmmkay Thanks!

I Finish School On the 3rd!!!!!!! Classes are Over on the third and then just one final on the 6th and it's OVER!! I have been waiting for this since August 23rd and it's FINALLY here!!! I'll be able is Sew again and Bake!!!! Uggg I haven't done eyether one of those in Forever!!

So I tried to post before now but EVERYTHING has been turned upside down... In case you hadn't figured that out.

So awhile ago Justin told me about this app, It's free and called OTR Stream (Old Time Radio) and it's amazing. I'm a sucker for Old Time Radio so it' perfect. You should check it out!

With this weather. Ha. It really is amazing. I love tights and my new coat and my favorite scarf :) and corduroy and all the colors and walking through leaves and jumping/stomping on leaves and tall Carmel Apple Spices (you can surprise me if you want)

Hmmmmm So I love Thanksgiving. Sis. Janice and Sis. Waldrep did an AMAZING job at chapel on Wednesday!!!!!!! It was really good!! Makes me love Thanksgiving even more!!

Bro. Short did a wonderful job Last night! Ohhhh I really miss hearing him preach!!!

So I'm done with Christmas shopping for my sister and I've got some stuff for other people in my family and a couple others ;)

There are five weeks left of school (I think) and I could jump up and down because of it. I'm soooooooo done!!!!!

Volunteering is still fun.

And work is okay. I got four gap cards within 3 hours! So they gave me three $5 Starbucks gift cards and I got to go home early! I pretty much rock. Hahahaha. They informed me that they would need my schedule for the Holiday season as soon as possible.... I should just be very thankful that they let me keep my job which I am...Buuuuuttt It makes life all the more hectic..Buh.

I feel like all I do is school, work, and volunteering so that's all I have to talk about. Maybe something super exciting will happen so until then have fun.

Oh Cher!!

Bonjour! Je suis très très désolé that it’s been soooooooooo long!

Ohhh My! Where to begin!?!

Let's start with school... I am Volunteering at LCA every Monday, Wednesday, and most Fridays! I teach art every Monday to the first and second graders and the rest of the time I’m helping in Sis. Waldrep’s room! I Love, Love, Love, LOVE it!!!! It's wonderful and I love the experience!

TU is just super awesome...Ha. It's really not THAT bad buuutttt I do not like getting up soooo early!! My body officially hates me. I have had two test so far one in French and the other in Oceanography. Hmmm... Let's start with my favorite class, Printmaking! I would tell you about what we are doing (Lithography) but I don't really understand it ;) Sooo All I can say is google it! Haha! My second favorite is Studio Art, it's pretty...interesting. ;) And it goes downhill from there... Oceanography is interesting but It's soooo stinkin early!! I have to be there a little before 8A.M. because he starts promptly at 8. Buh. Which means I have to leave my house at 7:15 and not a minute late! buh. I'm not a happy camper before 9! Creative Drama is lame. Some of the concepts are good but my teacher is really rude. We are learning and playing games right now and we were playing a game she knew and kept telling us we were doing it all wrong even though she "steps out of the teacher role when we are 'teaching the class’" So she stopped us and told us how we were doing it wrong but not how to do it right. Isn't that lame?

OKAY! Thursday night was Wait Wait...Don't tell me! The NPR new quiz show. :D It was incredible!!! A very BIG Thank You to the Wonderful person who bought them for me!!!! :D I was able to get pictures with Peter, Carl, and Mo! Annnd I now have Peter and Carl's autographs on my ticket!! I'm soooo glad I went back inside, there was like no one in there getting photos so I could kinda talk with Mo and Peter! The show is Amazing!!! You can listen to it every Saturday at 1 on 89.5 or get the podcast.

I bleed Hurricane Blue..What?!

Okay! School has officially started and I have no Idea what I have gotten myself into!!... Maybe it's really not that bad..yet.

Monday and Wednesday I have French and Printmaking. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have Oceanography (at 8AM!!!!!!!!) Then Intro to Studio Arts with this crazy professor who is making us draw everything with our NON dominate hand!! and then Creative Dramatics which will be super fun, our homework is to make a name tag that describes our personality without using a safteypin or straightpin. Fridays I only have French. :)

I made this fruit salad a week ago and it was A-mazing!! Bananas, Raspberries, Blueberries, Strawberries, Mangos, Peaches and Plums!! I had left over peaches, raspberries and blueberries so I made a smoothie. Wonderful.

I'm still working at Gap! 2-6 Tuesdays and Thursdays and then wheneves on Saturdays.

Some other stuff is going on right now...But I'll keep that for later..

Ohhhh yeah..Branson was last weekend! That was a ton of fun hangin with the cnc!!

Meteor Shower!

So my Blog is kind of almost fixed. I still can't figure out how to change my post font, I have gone to the blogger designer and changed all the fonts to Georgia but it's not changing them on my blog. Lame. If you can help please do so! I highly dislike this new template stuff but with the classic ones I can't add gadgets. Buh.(The background is a picture of bleeding hearts (the flowers) I think they are pretty!)

School starts on the 23rd. Eleven days from today. And I still have NO idea about anything. Why can't I just take all printmaking classes??

I am allllmost finished with my skirt from those dirt cheap Gap pants! Hopefully I can finish it tonight! We'll see though ;) So then I will have all next week to work on a seersucker skirt!! I love sewing, why can't you major in that??? or even have sewing classes?? TU is so lame.

Okay I haven't said anything about it but a SUPER Awesome person bought me Tickets to see Wait Wait....Don't Tell Me and I am very very very very EXCITED about it!!! :D I wish it was sooner!!

Uggggg. So for the last three or four weeks I have had the WORST cravings for Anything sweet. Apparently my body is making up for the two years I didn't indulge in a ton of sweets. and You can totally tell! Hi-five for 4 extra pounds. only not. :( So Dumb!

Sooo do you remember a looooong time ago when I talked about making an apron and how it wasn't going to take me a long time??!?....weellll I'M FINISHED!!! And it only took me two months but I had other stuff I was doing ;)

The lighting is lame but anyway... some people don't care for it too much but I figure I'll be wearing it so who cares!! I still have two things I want to start and finish by school, A red seersucker skirt and a jean skirt out of pants. Gap was having an amazing deal on jeans and with my discount I bought a pair at $2.98!... so that's a six dollar skirt. :) Can't beat that!

I went to Greensboro, North Carolina last week with my sister. If you have not been to that part of the country make sure you go!!! North or South Carolina. BEAUTIFUL!!

Haha! Was it what you were expecting?!? Meet the youngest member of the Tucker clan... Eugene Taylor Marryman III... (T.J. for short..Thank goodness!!) He's a Tucker at heart ;) iPhone photo quality isn't the best but it's as red as can be!! Guess who was my new best friend?? ;) My grandmother is beside herself... "I cannot believe one of MY grandchildren is a redhead!" She doesn't really like it... Oh well. Buh. I woke up yesterday morning and put eyedrops in my eyes as normal and it burned really bad! As the day progressed it got worse... it was burning and hard to see out of and it felt like I had 10 eyelashes in my eye at once and they were not coming out! By 10pm I had my glasses on and was trying to work on my apron but couldn't really see so I went to bed. I could not sleep. When I woke up this morning my eye was really red and it hurt to see. Whitney thought I had pink eye and by 130 I had called my eye doctor. Dr. Rainwater. Buh. I had an appointment at 215 and he said it was just an infection. That some type of debris had gotten under my contact and Voila!! So I now have special eyedrops.

Ohhh yeah I made some really good dark chocolate and cherry cookies the other day! Super good!

I hate buying clothes online! And I should learn never to read the buyers comments.. "Go a size down"... Lame!!

Lately!

OOOOOHHHHH BOY!!!! It has been forever and I day since I have updated... So sorry!

Soooooo.......

Zoe has decided that she likes corn (she use to hate it) and now she'll eat it right off the cob!

HERE is whats been going on, Sarah and I went to Dallas June 21st through the 23rd to go furniture shopping for her new apartment and Of course we went clothes shopping!!

Driving to Allen Outlet Mall in Texas! We woke up super early on Monday and drove to Allen to go shopping at the Outlet then we went to Wisteria to buy a bookshelf and a table. We went to Fridays that night and it was Nasty!! We woke up and went more furniture shopping and we went to the Galleria and at some point we went to Ikea! It was fun!!

Wooooooo!!! CAMP was next!!!! June 28th through July 3rd!!!! Wow.... I always feel that I can never express what God does for me at camp! And maybe that's best... But this comes to mind.. "He's still workin on me to make me what I ought to be, It took Him a week to make the moon and the stars, The sun and the earth and jupiter and mars, How loving and patient He must be cause He's still workin on me!"

Aaannnddd He is still working on other people! Several of the Kings Kids received the Holy Ghost and people from our Spanish outreach!!! God is AMAZING!!!!

Next was July 4th! Sarah is moving to an apartment on riverside right by where they were shooting them off! so my family and I went there and watched from her apartment!

I am very sad to say that Daisy is gone now. I think her babies hatched and she took them the creek behind our house. That's where I hope she is! It was fun watching her! We Are Having Awesome Revival!!! You should come, The Lighthouse Church at 71st and Union Sunday at 2 and Wednesday at 7!! More Important date are still to come this month! Stay in Touch! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Today is Molly "Polly Pockets" Tuckers Birthday!!! Molly would have been TEN today!! She died March 22, 2010. Molly is a full blood Cocker Spaniel with papers. Cocker Spaniels are hunting dogs. "His desire to hunt renders him a capable gun dog; He covers territory speedily, flushing game and retrieving only when under command. He takes to water readily." And I read that the reason that they started cutting their tails off was because when they would go into the woods to hunt their tails would get caught and break. Molly was such a good dog!! I wish I could find pictures of her when she was a puppy. She chewed up countless shoes and our couch at the old house (which is the one in the gameroom) We would play "The wolif" with her. We would tell her to be a wolif and we would get her paws and her nose and she would get so mad and snap at us. We would chase her around the house until she got really mad and decided to chase us around the house snapping at us and normally we would get up getting bit. Then we would tell her to be a fluffy bunny and she would be calm and give us a hug.

Molly was soooo smart!! She could eat off a fork AND she would give hugs!! All I had to do was get in the floor and say "Give me a hug Molly" and she would come over and put her head on my shoulder and I would give her a hug!We would play the "flashlight game" I think some of you saw this game. We would turn off the lights in the house and get a flashlight and go into the hall and point it to one end and they would/will take off chasing it a barking super loud. Then you point it at the other end and they will chase it and bark! It would go on until you get tired.HAHA!! She started sleeping like this. I don't know why but I think it's funny. She's like a person!! She loved the pool and would chase "the sweaper" (the thing that cleans the pool) she would also chase you, if you were doing laps she would follow and bark until you stoped. She would get in the pool whenever she wanted to. She would just get in a swim in a small circle the get out!! It was really cute!This is one of the last pictures of the three of them together. Zoe, Thia, and Molly in the blanket. She was so skinny that we kept a blanket on her to make sure she stayed warm.

She is burried at the front of the new propery. She's facing the road and protecting us! :) She always did!

We would also play this game called "Squirrl" If we saw a squirrl outside and sometimes when we didn't ;) We would yell "SQUIRRL" and the dogs would take off running outside and bark until "They got it" then they would come inside to get a treat.

She loved tacos from Taco Bueno, homemade tacos, and anything with hamburger meat!

I was the one who came up with Molly Polly Pockets and Molls. I always called her one or the other.

Today I told Zoe (we had had Molly only six months until we got Zoe so they were together along time) That today was Mollys Birthday and her tail started wagging really fast. It was sad but sweet at the same time!

Anyway I miss her. A lot!

CAMP!!!!

AAAAHHHHHHH!!!! Okay so I'm SUPER excite for CAMP!!!!! It's a month away but I wish it was next week!!!! I was listening to camp songs all day today while I was reworking some of my homework (my teacher gave an extension on our homework because the grades were not good) :( But those song kept me going and then I started looking at pictures from camp! Wow....

Ohhh my... Look at how we have changed!!! :) One full week of NO WORRIES just hangin with your friends and Having AMAZING moves of the Holy Ghost! What better way to spend a week?? I'm sooo looking forward to see what God is going to do in my life during camp!! :) He really touched me last year and I have no doubt that it will be just as amazing!!!!! Anyway I just thought I would post that!! And say big Thank You to Whitney for posting those Pictures!!! I have a summer for a little bit soooo I'll finish the apron and post some pictures of that! I need to get started something for camp... I think I'm just going to make a skirt... But you never know! I have to take my car to the shop tonight... She is making this reallllly annoying squeaking sound and she need her oil changed!! Hopfully it wont take all day to fix!! -Shelbs

Ohhh Boy!!

Oooookkkkkaaayyy!!!! Never ever ever ever ever...ever Take a fast track course!!!! Ohhhh boy!! Six hours of Math!! Super bad Idea. I mean it will be nice to be over in two weeks and all the homework, quizzes, and test are online which is wonderful but really?!?! Uggggggg! Anyway Sorry about that!!! My apron is coming along nicely! (I know you were wondering) I have the top part all finished and I have the math done for the second part but haven't cut anything out. You would think that with it being summer and all I would have it done by now butttt that's not how I work! I want to make something for CAMP which is in almost two months but I need to find a jacket pattern I like. Annd my dress form should be in soooon which is exciting! Tonight Sheramy, Shenay and I went walking for like an hour in a half. It was a ton of fun but probably not the best idea after my hour of intense workout :) I have work tomorrow so I should probably get to bed.. -Shelbs

Firsts...

There have been a lot of firsts lately..

- Friday night was my first night not with the youth group :( I miss them ALL.. Some more than others ;)

- Friday night was my first night with college and career. - The first day of the "new phase of my life" Gag me! - The first day to be in my 20's. Lame.

- Today was the First day of SUMMER!! :) - The first day of hanging around doing whatever I want...Before starting TCC and working and blah blah...

- My first year at TU Finished!!

- The first summer without Molly. It will be weird without her running laps around the pool this summer.. This is my FAVORITE picture of Her!So maybe not a lot of firsts but the ones that count.

Read it a weep... I am D.O.N.E. with finals as of Friday 4/30 at 9:28. It's wonderful!! I just have TCC starting May 10th so you can laugh at me for that..

Soooo now I have time to do the things that I want to do... Like making this apron.. It will look something like this but it will be a full apron not just half. I'm super excited! I've wanted to make this for three months now and I finally have some time to do it!

And swimming!! On Sunday the pool was at the wonderful temperature of 92 degrees! Yeah be super jealous...
